NYS DEC-registered facility
Bruin is officially registered with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. This means we meet strict environmental standards for electronics recycling and e-waste disposal.
DoD & NIST-Standard Certified Data Destruction
This means we follow the guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Defense and the National Institute of Standards and Technology to destroy sensitive data. Think of it as military-grade data security for your hard drives, SSDs, and mobile devices. Upon request, organizations receive a certificate as proof of data destruction.
R2-Certified Partners
All of Bruin's downstream partners — the facilities that process materials after we complete data destruction — are certified under the Responsible Recycling (R2) Standard. This means our partners are held to high environmental, health, and safety, and data security standards that ensure e-waste is handled responsibly at every step.
HIPAA-Compliant
By following DoD & NIST standards, Bruin data destruction processes are also HIPAA-compliant.
